Hi, I’m Amy, a photographer based in Madison, Wisconsin.
For me, photography is both restorative and expressive—a way of slowing down, gaining perspective, and connecting with the world around me. I’m drawn to life, color, and fleeting moments, along with unexpected detail and beauty that can awaken a sense of wonder.
Much of my work focuses on nature and wildlife, but I also explore architecture, portraits, and abstract compositions. I love experimenting with light, texture, color, and emotion, and seeing where curiosity takes me.
My work has appeared in publications and exhibitions and has received multiple first-place awards, but what I love most is when an image creates a connection—when someone sees something in it that makes them pause, feel, remember, or simply look a little closer.
